Tigers! Tigers are coming tonight! Tigers are coming on paws that pad silently. Tigers are coming with tails that twitch terribly. Tigers are coming with eyes that glint gleefully. Tigers are coming. Tigers are coming to lick your face.

I don’t think I’m in love, though I feel how I think people feel when they think they’re in love, And I think that I feel how they feel when they think they’re in love when I think about you. I don’t know if you think about love when you feel how I feel when I think about you, But I hope that you feel how I feel when I think about you when you think about me. I don’t know what to think about you, I don’t know if you know that I feel how I feel, I don’t know about love, but I know how I feel, and I love how I feel about you.

Your green eyes rose; they did not blink but kept their steady gaze. Your outstretched hand invited words but I had none to say. My nervous green eyes trembled and at last they fell away. Your eyes were steady; then they blinked and faltered in their gaze. Your hand began to tremble and at last it fell away. You nervously sought outstretched words but could find none to say. I saw your fallen eyes and nervously sought words to say. I trembled and I faltered when you did not meet my gaze. And so my outstretched hands and words and eyes all fell away. Your green eyes rose again; they might have blinked but kept their gaze. Your outstretched hand invited words but I had none to say. My nervous green eyes trembled but they did not fall away.

Make the time to take the time to make your time worth taking.

I’m dressed to impress, but I’ll settle for less. While professors profess their professional mess, And the rest of us stress over yesterday’s test, And the sweat in our desks is all we have left, And the brightest and best have been laid to rest, I’m dressed to impress, but I’ll settle for less. It’s just an old habit, I guess.

Sing with me, my love; O my love, you know it’s true: Once I had a future, now I just have you. I was born on a mountaintop with a river in my eyes; I was born to live forever, I was born to compromise. I left my home in the winter, I left my home in a cloud. I tried to sing with the lightning bolts but they said my voice was too loud. I walked a million miles, I met a million men. I never made eye contact and I never shook their hands. I finally found a place I thought I might belong. I kept on walking just in case it turned out I was wrong. I joined the sacred battle, the battle for the truth. With love on our side, it couldn’t be denied: there was no way we could lose. My shield was an age-old promise, my weapons were ink and wood. My orders were to save the world and I did the best I could. The road, it stretches out but I can walk no more, And if I could, what for? My feet are heavy and my eyes are sore. The road it stretches out but I can walk no more, my love. I’ve cast the palest shadow, I’ve worn the whitest robe. I’ve made the smallest sacrifice and borne the lightest load. I’ve slept until the sunset, I’ve drank until the day. I’ve dug a hole and called it home but now I cannot stay. So sing with me, my love; O my love, you know it’s true: Once I had a future, now I just have you.
